This formula is created with silky vitamin rich Almond Butter, paired with Plum and Pumpkin Seed Oils for a luxurious experience, and a coconut derived soap emulsified with an organic olive derived emulsifier for clean rinse off, leaving no film behind. Skin is left hydrated and moisturized.
For a cool, beautiful floral scent, and for their healing and anti-inflammatory benefits, I've imbued the formula with our artisan distillation of Yarrow and Chamomile. The essential oil is a rich inky blue, which signals it's high content of chamazulene, a natural plant constituent that is formed when a reaction occurs during steam distillation with the plants content of the sesquiterpene matricin, and it's natural content of azulene. Both chamazulene and azulene are sought after for their amazing anti-inflammatory properties, and are known to heal a variety of skin inflictions.
A Lavender extraction from our french lavender is highly antimicrobial and healing. It battles acne, clogged pores, damaged skin barrier, and helps soothe skin. The formula is infused with Blue Indigo and Blue Butterfly Pea Flower, which gives it it's gorgeous blue color, while adding moisturizing properties, and antioxidants that help keep skin healthy The fragrance is cool herbal, floral, refreshing and clean.
I have been hooked on this cleanser, it's easy, effective, gentle, healing, and suitable for all skin types. It's especially beneficial for inflammation, acne, and reducing redness, and with daily use can help clear a ruddy complexion. It's done wonders for redness around my nose and mouth this Winter when I had a cold, and felt cooling and soothing.
The scent is really, really amazing! Sweet, floral, cool lavender, herbal, moon loving white yarrow, and relaxing tea like chamomile. The chamomile has an apple pie note that is spicy and enticing. Everytime I use it, and especially so in the shower, it makes me feel as though I'm lifting the cool, blue waters from our forest stream to my face. The river cool, and flowing hard with the melting snow rising it's waters. I crush chamomile and lavender between my hands, and press the flowers and their juices into my skin. The blue color helps conjure the feeling even more. It's a lovely ritual and visualization. The cold blue Indigo dancing pretty with the vibrant blue of regal Butterfly Pea Flower, bring forth the camphor of the lavender, and a cooling effect to the skin ensues. The bisabolol found naturally in distillations of chamomile, helps drive the anti-inflammatory, cooling, and antimicrobial properties of the formula, deeper into the layers of the skin. Don't be afraid to let the creamy face wash linger on your skin for 5-10 minutes, as it can be used as a face mask for deep penetration of the marvelous ingredients.
Directions: The perfect cleansing cream to wash away make up in one easy step. This creamy, thick formula breaks down make-up and rinses clean. Close eyes and apply the formula onto dry skin, and massage into skin in a circular motion. Massage gently around the eye area to break down eye make up.
