Astara Perfume (Liquid or Solid)
Astara, Nymph of the stars and the high heavens. She glides across the sky when the Moon is almost visible, lighting the candles within the stars so they light up the night sky. She hushes the babes at night when the lull is not enough, singing them lullabies until their droopy lids close. Her soft skins scent is that of a mothers. The warm musk you breathe in, when as a child, you lie your head upon your mother's breasts. Orange blossoms, tobacco flowers and narcissus adorn her crown, and are her favorite, as they look like little stars holding the universe within them. She makes a bed of lotus and magnolia upon the clouds, lying her head on mounds of honeycomb, and adorned in robes woven from the finest silk and santal. She weaves dreamcatchers out of gardenia and rose petals, catching nightmares and returning sweet dreams to the sleeping.
Paperwhite(Narcissus) and Gardenia enfleurage extrait carefully blended with tinctures of brown Bahama and gold New Zealand ambergris, plantation grown A. Crassna, and Ilahi Hawaiian Sandalwood. The organic food grade alcohol is evaporated to obtain a stunning absolute, an accord, or really even perfume itself, ready for use in my perfumes. A beautiful botanical, cruelty free musk accord of my handcrafted absolutes of beeswax, propolis and whole honeycomb, coumarin rich sweet woodruff and deerstongue, topped off with a precious and stunning bakul attar that I will be hard pressed to find of this supreme quality again, and a delicious fossilized amber, gently stirred into an exquisite blend of my own Perfume Garden Flower Enfleurages of Paperwhite, Gardenia, and Nicotina Flower. Their scent is so mesmerizing they cause a mirage, and you assume you are smelling the real flowers!
Ingredients: Handcrafted Botanical Extracts, Absolutes, Distillations, Waxes, Concretes, Resinoids, Tinctures, and Enfleurages. Liquid Perfumes are in a base of Organic Cold-Pressed Jojoba oil, and Solid Perfumes are based in Organic Plant Butters and Organic Raw Beeswax from our honey bee hives.
Packaging Details and Shelf Life
Full size liquid perfumes are packaged in thick walled glass roller bottles. Full size solid perfumes are packaged in low profile french glass jars. Mini liquid 2ml and 3ml sizes are packaged in green glass roller bottles. Liquid 1ml sample sizes are packaged in glass sample vials, and 1ml solid sample sizes are packaged in plastic cosmetic lacon sample containers. Shelf life is 2 years from Date of Purchase.
Orders are nestled in forest and garden botanicals we collect and dry, inside a pretty green box made of recycled materials. Tied with green and white gold threaded cord, and topped with a gold charm. Wrapped in tissue paper with special paper sticker for easy recycling. All orders come with Jade Forest Co. logo artwork card in gold envelope with green wax seal stamped with our tree sigil emblem. Card can be personalized with your own message.
