Charlotte awoke to her little dingy boat hitting sand, the water lapping at the sides of the vessel. "You're ALIVE!", her mind screamed. Her big brown eyes began to well up with tears. She was free. She swung her legs over the side of the boat, her bare feet reaching the sand, she stood, realized how lucky she was to be alive, and exclaimed, "Land!"

She held her hand up to her forhead like a visor, blocking the sun from blinding her eyes, and began searching the horizon. Nothing in sight. She turned around, all around her white sand. She could see something in the distance, amongst the white sand that stretched as far as the eye could see. The sun was hot, and she was dying of thirst. She looked at the salty sea, tempted to cup her hands and gather up a swallow full of water to drink. She knew she couldn't do that. She stuck her finger in the water and wet her lips. She looked down at her dress, ripped, torn, and tattered by her brush with death, she'd been caught on the side of the boat when trying to jump to a dingy, but her dress tore thankfully, and she fell straight into the small boat. On the way down her leg had untangled the rope holding the small boat, and it began to drift out to sea, before anyone could get on and stop her. She tore a piece of her dress, and in a ribbon type of fashion, gathered her dark ringlets into a ponytail. She pulled the small boat up onto the shore, making sure to drag it past the beach so the tide would not take it away. With her shoes being long gone in the ocean when she fell from the boat, she began to trek across the hot sand bare foot.

Hours passed. Hills and white sand turned into more hills and white sand, blocking her view of the only point of interest on the entire island, as far as she could see. Hot sun, and dehydration setting in, she used the last of her strength to force her legs to carry her up the hill. She knew what she had seen from the beach just had to be on the other side, she had come so far.

She reached the top of the hill, to find a steep incline, and a strange mist at the bottom, blocking what was ahead from view. She gingerly started down the sandy incline, but lost her footing and began to tumble freely down the hill. She hit the ground with a thud, and then darkness.

She awoke to something wet dripping onto her forehead and across her face. She opened her eyes, using her arms to shield herself from the dripping liquid. She slowly lifted her dizzy head, letting the fog clear from her brain for a moment.

She sat up slowly, and looked down at herself. She was in one piece! A droplet of liquid bopped her on her head, reminding her to look up to see what awoke her from her daze. She peered up.

A tall tree! Palm! Coconuts! She twirled around and relief washed over her as her jaw dropped open, astonished. A waterfall, and a river! As clear as glass, white pebbles beneath it's cool waters. She ran to it, cupping her hands before she even reached the banks. She knelt down, cupping handfuls of the sweet, delicious fresh water, and sipping it as quickly as her dehydrated lips allowed her to.

A sweet, gourmand fragrance crossed beneath her nose. She looked in the direction in which the smell was emanating. Honeysuckle! She ran to the bush, and plucked the flowers one by one, drinking their honeyed nectar from the base of the blossom. She turned back to the river bank, and realized there were stands of spikey pineapple lining the shore. She picked up a sharp stone from the river, raced over to a plump pineapple fruit, and broke open it's skin with the stone. Like a starved animal she dug into the pineapple flesh, stuffing a large piece of ripe fruit in her mouth. The flavor and scent exploded through her taste buds and olfactory, the satisfaction immense. She gorged on the pineapple, scraping every piece of meat from the skin.

Sticky from the juicy pineapple, she waded into the warm river, her nose once again catching a whiff of something sweet. Near the waterfall tuberose and gardenia explode from the banks, and up a grassy hill above it. She swam over to the blossoms, their delectable scent drawing her in. Steam rising from behind the tuberose and gardenias, and poked her head around their flowers, a hot spring! She lept from the river, collected a few handfuls of blossoms, tossed them into the hot spring, and dipped her toe in. "Ahhh perfect, " she says as she smiled and undressed. She immersed herself into the hot water, "Finally FREEEEE!" She blissfully sang. The flowers floating around her, she grabbed a few and cleansed her skin with their fleshy petals, the fragrance drifting all around her. "Mmmm this is paradise," she pondered.

Blossom Oasis Hair Mask begins with our artisan co-distillation of; Goldenrod, Fresh Hawaiian Pineapple 'Maui Gold', Scented Geranium 'Mimosa Lime', Blue Spice Basil (which smells like blueberries!), Honeysuckle 'Peaches and Cream', Gardenias, 'Coconut Magic', Jasmine, 'Angel Wing' and 'Grand Duke' Sambac, and Tea Rose. The distillation yielded a small amount of oil and lots of beautiful hydrosol, the scent mesmerizing. We decided to double distill the hydrosol through more fresh botanicals, and a beautiful double co-distillation was born, fragrant and refreshing. Both the hydrosol and essential oil we obtained is contained within the formulation, and is emulsified into hair loving, repairing plant butters and oils, to produce a fragrant, fluffy, rich, concentrated, decadent hair mask. If I was stranded in a desert, or on a tropical island, I could live with smelling this for the rest of my life! The scent sends you off on a vacation where flowers blossom under rainforest, and ripe, heavy fruits screaming to be picked. The melange of perfume flowers and pineapple, and traditional coconut butter, couldn't be dreamier. When the cold weather arrives, I'll be applying this after a long bath, to drift my mind off to a warm, white beach!

For this beautiful hair mask, I sourced a very unique type of coconut oil, a traditional coconut butter, which is produced by hand by a co-op of artisan creators, who use a traditional method of extraction. The fragrance smells of fresh coconuts, and it's natural extraction helps it retain all of its nutrients and benefits. As of it could get anymore decadent, this beautiful coconut butter, and the "Blossom Oasis" co-distillation, are combined with the refined enfleurage pomades of Gardenia, Jasmine, and Rose created from our organically grown flowers. The precious ingredients are emulsified with an Ecocertified natural emulsifier, to create a smooth, creamy hair mask that applies like a dream, and rinses out beautifully to reveal silky, smooth, protected hair. The formula is very concentrated and rich, and only a small amount is needed to cost your strands and feed your hair!
