Pomona Solid Perfume

Pomona, Wood Nymph of Stone Fruit Trees. Her orchard is like a maze, thick with the oldest fruit trees on earth and ancient twisted, lush grape vines. Bushels and pecks of crisp apples, plump pears, juicy plums, fragrant grapes, and velvet peaches she carries in her willow basket. Her poplar handle and slate bladed knife slices effortlessly through the ripe, succulent fruits, as she steeps her wild osmanthus flower tea in her tiny teapot made of clay, and captures wild fruit yeast to make her daily bread. She squeezes the fruit pulps and skins into magical elixirs, and plops the fruit slices into an alabaster stone vessel to ferment her fruit and honey perfume. Collecting boughs of pine, spruce, and fir, she pulls her golden comb from her kinky amber curls, and uses the teeth to harvest balsam sap and flowing tree resin from bleeding wounds on the tree trunks. A nearby shrub, buzzing with bees and a small intricate hive, lends her honeycomb, the sweetest part of her potion. She perfumes her stone fruit grove with pomade as sweet as her smile. Ambrosia fit for the beings who dwell amongst the ether and in the forests and meadows of Elysium.

Pomona is a fruity, forest floral. Her perfume is created with handcrafted absolutes and resinoids of; dehydrated fruit of Pear, Apple, Plum, and Peach Blossom woven through Pine, Spruce, Fir, Cypress, Juniper, and Juniper Berry, and then anchored by Poplar Bud, Peru Balsam Resin, Frankincense and Beeswax. Also contains a very special extraction of dry Thai Osmanthus flowers. The flowers were picked freshly opened, dried carefully, and sent to me by a friend in Thailand. The absolute I created from the Osmanthus flowers was then aged for years before I used it in this perfume. The aging process ripened the fruit notes and cleared the hay like nuances. It's quite stunning, not as sweet as the commercially available absolutes, and the fruit nuances are dialed up ten fold! The secret ingredient that adds to the delicious fruity scent, is an absolute I created from Wild Grape, Autumn Olive, and Honey Mead Dregs. The perfume extrait is then set into a solid pomade of my Jasmine and Tuberose Co- Enfleurage. Fruits and their blossoms unfold into a forest of flowers and orchard trees.
 
Ingredients: Handcrafted Botanical Extracts, Absolutes, Distillations, Waxes, Concretes, Resinoids, Tinctures, and Enfleurages. Liquid Perfumes are in a base of Organic Cold-Pressed Jojoba oil, and Solid Perfumes are based in Organic Plant Butters and Organic Raw Beeswax from our honey bee hives.
